LOCHDOWN
Dream project come true! Jason Phelan lochDown takes BMX to the middle of the Holy Loch, Scotland. Combine deep sea diving and BMX and you get one hell of an idea. Jason has teamed up with The Professional Diving Academy (PDA) in Dunoon, Scotland to take BMX to the sea.
LOCHDOWN DOCUMENTARY
Following the release of lockdown, a full documentary was released documenting from start to finish of how the project came together, from building the ramps and getting the wood across to the boats to overcoming the tough situations along the way. Mike King really came through and done an amazing piece of work putting this one together.
THE INDESTRUCTIBLES
Jason took part in a 12 part series “The Indestructibles” on Dave. Jason got to create some of his ideas on the roof tops of an old abandoned tools factory jumping down through roofs and building ramps overlooking the city.
The Rail Backflip
Jason set out to be the second person in the world to land a double peg grind to backflip. The first time Jason tried this he landed on his head knocking himself out - this was due to building the rail too steep. However this was not all bad - this crash earned him a spot on the Discovery Channel with a slot on the show “Outrageous Acts Of Science”. A year later after building a new rail he conquered the rail to backflip.
